A first world war medal trio awarded to 69198 Saddler Samuel George Handscomb, Royal Field Artillery, who was Bus Conductor with London Passenger Transport Board during the second world war.

Samuel was born September 2, 1890, and in 1911 was living with his parents William and Rebecca at 19 Bridgefield Grove, Wandsworth, London, his occupation Biscuit Baker.
He was sent to France on 31st August 1915, the same year he married Eleanor M Lemon.
In 1939 he was employed at a Bus Conductor with the London Passenger Transport Board, living at 6 Prarie Street, Wandsworth, London.
He died in October 1965.
