A second world war medal group of six awarded to 6147553 Private William Samuel Baulch, East Surrey Regiment and Royal Norfolk Regiment, who was wounded in action in the Mediterranean.

The medals are in good condition.
William Samuel Baulch was born in London on 16th August 1913. Later moving to Devon.
He served with the East Surrey Regiment and was wounded in action on 24th October 1943 in the Central Mediterranean Theatre of War. His medal card shows he later served with the Royal Norfolk Regiment.
The group comes with his original Soldier's Service and Pay Book, transmittal letter informing his next of kin that he had been wounded in action and a letter from Tommy Trinder to Baulch's sibling dated 16th February 1944.
