Queen's South Africa Medal (Clasps - Defence of Ladysmith, Belfast) named to 2948 Pte. R. Ray, Manchester Regt.
Richard Ray's service papers suggest he was awarded a 3 clasp QSA which included that for Elandsgaate but only the clasps for Defence of Ladysmith and Belfast are confirmed on the medal roll.
The medal is in good condition.
