Gidley dashed forward and no one heard from him again” (Gaza, 1917: First Battle 26 March and Second Battle 19 April by Martin Glen)

Frederick William Gidley  was born 5th June 1894, son of G. Gidley, a boot maker. He went to Westbourne school and then to Latymer school. He is mentioned in Latymer school magazine May 1919.
