Robert James Grass was born in Wroxall, Somerset. He lived in Doncaster, Yorkshire, where he died in 1983 at the age of 90.
He first entered France on 17/1/17 and was taken prisoner of war on 27/3/18. He was released in January 1919.
The medals are in good condition.
