A first world war medal trio to 18728 Private William Phillips, York and Lancs Regt. Wounded in action at Ypres and had to have his left leg amputated.
1914-15 Star named to 18728 Pte. W. Phillips. York. & Lanc: R.
British War Medal named to 18728 Pte. W. Phillips. Y. & L. R.
WW1 Victory Medal named to 18728 Pte. W. Phillips. Y. & L. R.
Private Phillips was wounded in action at Ypres in 1915. He received a gun shot would to his left leg which subsequently had to be amputated. He was discharged physically unfit on 2/12/15.
The medals are in good condition.
