George VI Territorial Efficiency Medal named to 3712196 Pte. G. Evans. King's. Own.
Private Evans served with the 2nd Battalion. From March 1944 until July 1944 the battalion operated as Number 41 and 46 Chindit Columns operating behind lines in Burma. In May 1944 both columns were involved in fierce action inside 'Blackpool Block' a defensive perimeter south-west of Myitkyins.
The medals are in good condition and are mounted on card for display.
