This coin collection contains Proof specimens of the circulating range of UK coins for 2010 from the £2 to the 1p and also includes four commemorative coins: a £5 coin marking the 500th anniversary of the accession of Henry VIII, two £2 coins -one celebrating the 250th anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns and another marking the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin as well as the 150th anniversary of the publication o f his theory On the Origin of Species - and a 50p coin marking the 250th anniversary of the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew.
All have been struck in their circulating alloys to the Proof quality for which the Royal Mint enjoys worldwide renown.
