The medals are in good condition with ribbons.
Comes with some research which indicates that Pte Ainley first enlisted in 1906 in the 7th Bn West Riding Regiment. He was discharged - time served - in March 1916 but seems to have re-enlisted in October 1916 for the duration of the war. Worthy of further research.
