A first world war casualty Victory Medal awarded to 3150 / 200881Sergeant Walter Fox, 1st/4th Battalion Essex Regiment, who was sadly killed in action on 26/3/1917 at the First Battle of Gaza.
WW1 Victory Medal named to 3150 Sjt. W. Fox. Essex R.
The medal has a replacement ring suspender and shows signs of wear. Please see photos.

Son of Herbert and Nellie Fox of Ilford, Essex. Husband of Sabina Rose Fox, 12 Ranelagh Road East Ham, London. Remembered at the Gaza War Cemetery.
