George V Royal Navy Long Service & Good Conduct Medal named to 238733 G.E. Morrell. R.P.O. H.M.S. Royal Oak. 

Comes with his ID bracelet , ribbons bars as well as his some medal group of four with damaged box of issue and entitlement slip. 

George Edward Morrell was born on 20th May 1891 in Knaresborough, Yokshire. He joined the Royal Navy as a Boy 2nd Class in 1907 and signed up for 12 years service on his 18th birthday. 

He was "Recommended for Medal and Gratuity" on 31/12/1921, 1922 and 1923 but was deprived of one Good Conduct badge on 14th February 1928 for "Act to prejudice of good order and Naval Descipline in borrowing money."

In February 1933, when working as a postman, he was jailed for 3 months for "Theft from Post" at Otley Police Court.
