A first world war casualty medal group awarded to 13-473 Private Joseph Hargreaves, 13th (1st Barnsley Pals) Battalion, York and Lancaster Regiment, who was sadly killed in action on 17th June 1916 and is remembered at Thiepval Memorial.

The Victory Medal shows signs of being cleaned but overall the medals are in good condition. Comes with box of issue for the Memorial Plaque, which has water damage and has had his name written twice on the outside. Please see photos.
Joseph Hargreaves was from Carlton, Barnsley.
