A first world war medal trio awarded to Articifer Engineer Tom William Sier Hook, Royal Navy, who retired as Lieutenant Commander (E).
1914-15 Star named to Art. Eng. T.W.S. Hook, R.N.
British War Medal named to Art. Eng. T.W.S. Hook. R.N.
WW1 Victory Medal named to Art. Eng. T.W.S. Hook. R.N.
Tom Hook was born on 25th October 1880 in Chatham, Kent.
Served on HMS Bellerophon at the Battle of Jutland.
He was appointed Warrant Engineer in 1920 and Commissioned Engineer in 1925. In 1928 he was placed on Retired List (own request) with rank of Lieutenant (E). Hook is then listed on HMS Calliope (Shore Establishment) in 1940 and Wildfire, 1941, as Lt (E) Ret'd, before being place on Retired List again as Lieuenant Commander (E) Ret'd.
The medals are in good condition.
