A first world war Memorial Plaque for 2119 Private Frederick George Marden, 5th Bn. Devonshire Regiment, who was killed in action and is remembered at Basra Memorial, along with his sons Imperial Service Medal. 

WW1 Memorial Plaque (Death Penny) named to Frederick George Marden 

Killed in Action - 8th March 1916 

EIIR Imperial Service Medal named to William Henry John Marden 

Comes in original fitted box along with official award certificate from Central Chancery of Orders of Knighthood, dated 28th September 1971

Included with this lot are copies of census and baptism records, casualty details and London Gazette entry.
