For Conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. This warrant officer has shown consistent good work. His example and influence have been invaluable, and he has often shown his entire disregard of danger in such a manner as to inspire his men with the greatest confidence.
Dunger was discharged on 19.09.1918 due to gun shot wounds to his ankle and wrist. He rejoined through the Territorials in 1939.
The medals are in good condition.
