A first world war casualty medal pair awarded to 3690 / 40022 Private Robert Marper, 8th Battalion Lincolnshire Regiment, who sadly died of wounds on 18//11/1916 and is remembered at Varennes Military Cemetery. Along with his brother’s Special Constabulary Long Service Medal, who served with the Lincolnshire Special Constabulary.

Along with his younger brother’s George VI Special Constabulary Long Service Medal named to Basil D. Marper.
The first world war medals have somwe wear but are generally in good condition. The Special Constabulary medal has a number of edge knocks and the suspender is very loose. All naming can be read.
The Marper’s were from Northorpe, near Gainsborough, Lincolnshire.
