A second world war family group to the Griffiths-Buchanan brothers. One a Royal Air Force casualty and the other a Captain in Devonshire Regiment. 

Group One: 
900986 Sergeant Alexander Neill Griffiths-Buchanan, 78 Sqdn., Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve

Killed In Action 9th October 1943 (Hanover War Cemetery) 

Sgt Buchanan-Griffiths was a Flight Engineer on a Halifax II during the attacks on Hannover in October 1943. On the 8th October the aicraft went out on a bombing raid and nothing more was heard from them. Later found that the aircraft had crashed in Strohen. 

The group comes with the original box of issue, condolence slip and a photograph of him, aong with a quantity of research.

Charles Keith Griffoths Buchanan was with the 6th Anti-Aircraft Divisiaonal School before being commissioned into the Devonshire Regiment as a 2nd Lieut.

The group comes with original box of issue addressed to Capt. C.K. Griffiths-Buchanan, entitlement slip, Soldiers Service and Pay Book and a photograph of him in uniform.
