WW1 Victory Medal named to 8717 Pte. G. Lyne. Manch. R.
Private George Lyne volunteered in September 1914 and first entered France 08/11/15. He was in action at Albert, during the Somme offensive, and was wounded in action at Montaubon on 05/07/1916. After treatment at Birmingham Military Hospital he returned to France.
The medals are in good condition.
