A 9ct hallmarked gold pocket watch presented to 7962 C.S.M. John W. Clough, 2nd Bn. Yorkshire Regiment in 1925.
Clough was awarded the Military Medal and Meritorious Service Medal during the first world war. This was presumably given to him as a retirement gift.
The back of the watch is engraved:

The case has some scratches to the opening but is generally in good condition and is keeping time. It weighs aprroximately 80 grams and measures 47mm in diameter.
