A first world war medal pair to 172355 Private Arthur James Eyre, 3rd Canadian Infantry.

WW1 Victory Medal named to 172355 Pte. A.J. Eyre. 3 - Can. Inf.
Eyre was twice wounded. On the 15/09/1916 he suffered a gun shot wound to his head and right arm from a shell explosion whilst serving with the 1st Canadian Entrenchment Bn. He was invalided to England aboard Hospital Ship Dieppe. On the 06/03/1917 he was discharged to the 12th Reserve Bn. and went back into service with the 3rd Bn Canadian Infantry on 03/05/1917. On the 15/09/1917, a year to the day of his first wounding, he received a gun shot wound (shrapnel) to his right leg.
Comes with copy research and a disc with his service papers.
The medals are in good condition with original ribbons.
