A scarce hardback book giving the official German account of the war in South Africa between March and September 1900. The book was prepared in the historical section of the great general staff, Berlin and translated by Colonel Hubert Du Cane (military attache at Sofia). The book was published in 1906. Germany took a keen interest in the Boer war and had many observers. The book contains 374 pages including the index. Contains some black and white illustrations and large folded maps.
