A first world war group awarded to T4/091776 Driver Joseph Jones, 2nd Mobile Veterinary Section, Army Service Corps, who died of acute nephritis on 30/4/17 and is remembered at St. Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen.

The medals are in good condition.
Joseph Jones was from Southwell, Nottinghamshire and enlisted in Newark. He first went out to France on 17th September 1915. He was transported on the 31st Ambulance Train and admitted to No.5 General Hospital, Rouen on 27th March 1917 with acute nephritis. He was there for just over a month and subsequently died on 27th April 1917.
