A first world war medal trio awarded to 16754 Private Reginald Stapleton (Alias, Doel), Essex Regiment, who was wounded in action.

WW1 Victory Medal named to 16754 Pte. R. Doel. Essex R. 

The medals are in good condition. 

Reginald Stapleton enlisted under the alias Reginald Doel. He entered the Balkans Theatre on 10th June 1915 and was wounded in action on 20th December 1915, receiving a gun shot wound to his left arm. He was discharged on 7th August 1916.
