A second world war Assault Normandy Bridgehead MID medal group of five awarded to EX.4421 Temporary Corporal Herbert William Gibbs, Royal Marines. 

1939-45 Star unnamed as issued 
Burma Star unnamed as issued 
France & Germany Star unnamed as issued 
WW2 Defence Medal unnamed as issued 
War Medal 1939-45 (with MID oak leaf emblem) unnamed as issued 

The medals come with original box of issue addressed to Mr H.W. Gibbs, 88 Tower Road, his entitlement slip and pair of RM brass shoulder titles. Box lid has label marked "Mne EX 4421"
