A first world war casualty medal pair along with a Whaplode St. Mary Great War Tribute medal awarded to 31294 Private George Stephenson, 2nd Bn. South Lancashire Regt, who was sadly killed in action on 12/3/18 and is remembered at Favreuil British Cemetery.

The medals are in good condition with good lengths of original ribbons. The Tribute medal has hallmarks for Birmingham 1920.

George Stephenson was from Whaplode, Holbeach, Lincolnshire.
