George Brade was born in Liverpool in 1886. He joined the Mercantile Marines and worked his way up to a Marine Engineer with Houlder Line. He was a 2nd Engineer at the start of WW1. Still with Houlder Line during WW2, he served n S.S. Baronesa (1941-43) and Samearn (1944).
The medals are in good condition and are mounted on card backing for display.
