George VI Territorial Efficiency Medal named to 2061883 Pte. H.W. Simpson. Essex.
Private Henry William Simpson previously served with the 189/63rd Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment. He was wounded and taken prisoner of war on 30th April 1943 in North Africa before being released shortly afterwards. Presumable when the Allies accepted the surrender of the Axis forces in North Africa.
The medal is in good condition.
