Recommendation:
 "Leading Stoker Davies has for 8 months, been employed with the standing boiler party and has been immediately responsible for the maintenance of the brickwork in the Main Boilers. Even in temperate climates this is arduous work, but conditions are much aggravated on this station. On several occasions, once or twice, of the first operational importance - Davies has entered the furnaceof a boiler to carry out essential brickwork repairs when the boilers were still very hot, and has completed the work with marked efficiency."

William George Davies was born on 9th January 1900 in Kirkdale, Liverpool. 

The medals are in good condition and are swing mounted for wear.
