For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty during two years at the front, where he has served continuously with the battalion. On one occasion, when the company was ordered forward to restore the line, he kept the men together in the face of heavy shell fire, and when the objective was gained he went from post to post encouraging the men and helping care for the wounded.
Sjt. Snow is also mentioned in "The History of the Lancashire Fusiliers 1914-18".
The medals are in good condition with good lengths of original ribbons.
Comes with copy MIC, DCM citation and London Gazette entry. Entitled to SWB (gunshot wound).
