Thought we'd share the new Visit Doncaster video with you. I think they've done a nice job showcasing some of the attractions here.

Did you know our Mansion House is one of only 3 surviving in the UK? The Grade 1 listed building is often open to the public with free admission.
Established in 1776, the St Leger is the oldest of Britain's five Classics and its distance is longer than any of the other four. They also host events and concerts at the Racecourse with an antiques fair every bank holiday weekend.
The Yorkshire Wildlife park has over 400 animals and over 70 different species of animal, it's a wonderful day out. They are a centre for conservation and do great work protecting endangered animals and the environment.
The Dome leisure centre is a great one for all the family. They have swimming, skating, a fitness suit and soft play as well as hosting conferences and events. The Ice caps at the Doncaster Dome is the first and only split-level ice rink in the UK.
Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery was opened in 1964 to display important collections of natural history, archaeology, local history, fine and decorative art. There is also a large and varied temporary exhibition programme throughout the year, as well as special activities for all ages. The Regimental Gallery of the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry is located in the same building.
Doncaster markets include many areas such as Goose Hill where you can find over twenty shops selling jewellery, plants, clothes, toys and gifts. The Fish Market selling every type of fish and seafood imaginable. When in season you can also buy fresh game including rabbit, hare, venison and boar, also houses one of the few tripe stalls in the area. The International Food Hall Food and only food, with goods from all over the world including Greek delicatessen , Cafe Med serving delicious food to eat there, traditional bread and cakes, a variety of speciality cheeses, and meat and award winning butchers. The Wool market is currently undergoing a major refurbishment programme which will be completed by December 2018. The Outdoor Market with a whole host of things from seasonal vegetables, locally produced eggs, flowers and plants. They also sell clothes and phone accessories to name but a few.
Last but by no means least the wonderful Corn Exchange. As some of you will remember this is where we opened our first shop. Although we outgrew the space we still have a special place in our hearts for this beautiful listed building. Housing a wide range of quality goods including, fashion, furnishings, alterations, confectionery and much more. Upstairs is a dedicated craft area with regular classes in card making and other activities. The building is also home to the markets Information Point for visitors, as well as an unsupervised play area for children.

Just mentioned a few things but there is so much more. CAST Theatre, South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum, Keep Moat stadium, Conisbrough Castle, Cusworth Hall, Frenchgate and Lakeside shopping centres, etc, etc, etc.

I will stop now before I get recruited for the tourist board but you get the picture! Lots to do here and of course if you're over this way don't forget to call in and see us. Almost all these attraction are less than 10 mins drive from us and most even closer than that.
