London Gazette - 2nd April 1918 (M.M.)
George Lipscombe enlisted at West Ham and initially served with the 6th Bn. Essex Regt in Gallipoli. He later transferred to the 161st Company, Machine Gun Corps, serving as a Machine-Gunner. Having served with this unit in Egypt he was later released due to wounds received in an accident.
The medals are in good condition and are swing mounted for wear.
